HIGHLIGHTS
HIGHLIGHTS
Every year, we host a male pageant called Mr. K to showcase Asian American Awareness and invite all the cultural organizations on campus to send out a representative!
The planning for this big production takes at least 3 months, and it is my job as VP to ensure that all of the details are double checked and the contestants feel confident for the big day
Mr.K also won the Jerrold L. Stein Social Program Award at the Student Life Awards 2023 hosted by Stony Brook University
This year, we were able to collaborate with the organizers of Head In The Clouds NY and give out complimentary tickets to a lucky attendee at our upcoming Mr. K
As the Vice President of Service for my sorority, I had two goals
As the Vice President of Service for my sorority, I had two goals
To break my chapter’s fundraising record for Breast Cancer Awareness during the month of October
To have fun and be as creative as possible with the marketing of the fundraiser
And that I did. By executing new ideas such as BCA Pop-Up Thrift Store, Painting Mugs Pink, and taking our annual pageant to the biggest stage on campus, I was able to attract the most turnout than ever before.
I was also able to acquire a sponsorship from Coca Cola for all of the events we hosted!
